At IMSciences, it is our motto to value ability and passion regardless of a person’s background: this is particularly why the administration has collaborated with other organizations in order to provide different forms of financial aid to the eligible students. In the session 2008-09, 54% of the total student body strength was provided financial support worth Rs. 45 million through the procurement of different scholarship programs, loans and on-campus job opportunities. HEC-USAID Funded Need Based Scholarship Programme

In order to execute an academic financial aid project for Pakistani students, the United State Agency for International Development (USAID) sought potential partners that represented the highest quality of academic excellence: owing to its academic reputation, IMSciences was selected as one of the beneficiaries of this scheme.HEC-USAID Funded Need Based Scholarship Programme for IMSciences Students aims at providing equal opportunities to talented students who are unable to undertake higher education due to financial constraints. This scholarship programme provides complete funding for MBA (General) – 2 Years programme covering tuition, accommodation, transportation, books and incidentals as well as stipend. For the Session 2009-2011, thirty eight students from IMSciences have been selected to receive funding from the USAID.

IMSciences Provision of Higher Education Opportunities for Students of FATA and Balochistan (President Directive) Scholarship Programme

IMSciences Provision of Higher Education Opportunities for Students of FATA and Balochistan (President Directive) Scholarship Programme is aimed to match the twin criteria of merit and need by providing fully funded scholarships to students from FATA and Balochistan who are unable to undertake higher education due to financial constraints. This scholarship programme provides funding for 2000 Bachelors and Masters Level students belonging to FATA and Balochistan. All students are required to apply through the Higher Education Commission prescribed procedure. IMSciences Partial Scholarships MBA / MBA (B&F) / MBA (1 Year) / MPA

IMSciences Partial Scholarships are merit based and awarded to undergraduate and graduate students based on the performance of candidates on the entrance test. Two hundred and fifty students were awarded partial scholarships in the session 2008-2009. This scholarship programme is available for BBA (Hons), BCS, MBA (General), MBA (Banking & Finance), MBA (1 Year) and MPA disciplines. At the undergraduate level, seventy percent and at graduate level sixty five percent fee waiver is provided to scholarship holders. Selected students are tenable to hold their scholarships for the entire duration of their academic programme.

IMSciences Frontier Education Foundation Scholarships Scheme for MBA Students

The FEF provides scholarships to academically endowed students at the IMSciences as part of its activities to deepen capacity in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The FEF is a semi-government institution that provides support to academic institutions by focusing on female education in particular. The grant covers full tuition fee of the academic year and is renewable.

IMSciences Trust Scholarships

These scholarships are merit based and granted to the most flourishing students at the Institute who demonstrate highest intellectual capabilities and achieve maximum CGPA at the end of every semester. These scholarships are granted in all eight semesters in under-graduate and 4 semesters in graduate programmes respectively. In the session 2008-2009, 112 IMSciences Trust scholarships were awarded to students from different disciplines.

IMSciences Academic Talent Gender Based Merit Scholarships for MBA (Banking & Finance)

The MBA (Banking & Finance) is run in collaboration with the Institute of Bankers Pakistan (IBP), the premier knowledge institute & professional examining body of Pakistan. The IMSciences Academic Talent Gender Based Scholarship Programme is for candidates of extraordinary merit and potential who are expected to take leading roles in this sector in the future. These awards are equally distributed amongst the male and female students. This scholarship scheme covers full tuition fees of the MBA (B&F) programme at IMSciences.

In-Country Scholarship for Masters Programme

In-Country Scholarship for Masters Programme has already been announced under the supervision of FATA Secretariat Peshawar and FATA Development Authority for the students of Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber Agencies and FR-Peshawar. This scholarship programme covers Admission Fee, Tuition Fee, Yearly Books Allowance and Monthly Stipend including Boarding and Lodging. FATA Education Foundation Scholarships

IMSciences is one of the 10 professional partner institutes for the implementation of FATA Education Foundation Scholarship Programme. Under this scholarship programme, Rs.12000/- per student is offered to eligible students from FATA.

IMSciences Brother Sister Fee Rebate

These scholarships provide 50% fee waiver to siblings studying at both undergraduate and graduate level disciplines. In the session 2008-2009, 74 students were awarded this scholarship. These candidates are tenable to hold these scholarships for the entire duration of their study programme subject to maintaining a defined academic performance i.e. a minimum level of CGPA.

Aga Khan Education Service, Pakistan Scholarships for Students from Chitral

These scholarships are provided by the Aga Khan Education Service, Pakistan for students from Chitral and comprise 50 % scholarship and 50 % interest free loan with flexible pay back duration after the completion of their respective programs. In the session 2008-2009, three students were selected for this scholarship programme by AKESP.

Fauji Foundation Excellence Award for Higher Professional Courses

These scholarships are provided by Fauji Foundation to wards of Armed Forces, Retired / In Service Personnel. These awards are on annual basis and renewable. The amount of this scholarship is Rs. 12,000/- per annum.

FFC (Fauji Fertilizers Company Limited) Ward of Farmers Scholarships

These scholarships are awarded by Fauji Fertilizers Company Limited to wards of farmers. The award is disbursed on semester basis and the amount given is Rs. 9000/- per annum.

P.A.F Shaheen Fellowship

These scholarships are awarded by Pakistan Air Force, Shaheen Foundation to the children of commissioned employees in PAF. Scholarships are awarded at both graduate and undergraduate levels and the amount of given is Rs. 20,000/- per annum.

Financial Support for IDPs Students (Malakand Division)

Own a Student® is a group of philanthropists who have created a platform to financially support students from IDPs’ families (Malakand Division). All the concerned students can apply online on www.ownastudent.com. Selection of eligible candidates is executed by the concerned committee at the Institute.
