Center for Public Policy Research (CPPR)
The Centre for Public Policy Research at the Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences) serves as an independent think tank on public policy and governance challenges facing the province of KP. Since 2009, the Centre has delivered cutting edge research on diverse themes such as education, health, social protection, women empowerment, peace-building, urban refugees, land reforms, microfinance, child protection, youth development, and SDGs.
The centre has proven expertise in baselines, impact evaluations, trainings, digital communications, project management, conflict resolution, and database development. CPPR has strong linkages with key government departments and is often involved in policy making committees and boards in KP.
The Centre regularly arranges seminars, symposiums, debates, panel discussions, workshops, twitter spaces, and talks on various aspects of social, political and economic topics concerning the Province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and erstwhile FATA districts. CPPR also employs a good number of IMSciences students every year as interns, research associates and in administrative support roles.
