Employers’ recruitment activities held:
- Habib Bank Ltd. Conducted online test at IM Sciences and selected a large group of graduates.
- Borjan Pvt. Ltd carried out interviews at IMSciences and hired Management Trainee-Retail.
- Next Bridge Pvt. Ltd recruitment day held on 26th May’11, the HR Manager briefed the students about his organization before holding employment test.
- Jabs Solutions Islamabad recruitment team visited IMSciences for carrying out employment test from the Computer Science graduates.
- Total Parco selected Sales Executive from IMSciences.

ILO’s Project “CHOICES”:
In Dec’10 IMSciences signed a MoU with FCG Human Capital Pvt. Ltd for ILO’s pilot project “CHOICES” to build its in-house capacity to mainstream gender in career counseling activities. The project is an action based research on reducing gender disparities in employment through effective career counseling for women in Pakistan.
IMSciences Celebrates Womens’ Day:
The CDC organized a Seminar on “The Role of Women in Today’s Environment” held on 22nd March, 11 at IMSciences, different non-profit organizations participated in the Seminar. Ms. Maryam Bibi (CEO-Khwendo Kor) was requested to deliver a speech on the Seminar topic. Other core participants were Senior Program Officer-UN Women, CEO-Award NGO, Directress_Euro Industries. SPO-UN Women was also requested for expressing her views on the seminar subject.

PMN Signed MoU with IMSciences:
The Pakistan Microfinance Network (PMN) and Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences) signed a MoU on 10th June’11, initiating the PMN Academic Linkages program at the prestigious university and marking the beginning of a collaborative relationship between the two organizations.
In the MoU, PMN agrees to share microfinance data and opportunities with IMSciences students, where they will be informed of projects, internships and job vacancies at all PMN member organizations. IMSciences will reciprocate by informing PMN of applicants for jobs and projects and allow microfinance material to be displayed and distributed on the campus.
Training Workshop organized by the CDC:
The CDC organized Training Workshop sessions in June’11 on “CV Writing and Interview Skills” in order to enhance skills among students required for the employment and to make them well equipped with the requirements of the professional world.
